My name is Genet Jones. I have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, and am also a lifelong writer and editor. What does that mean? Well, when I was 12, I was helping my older brother with his high school English homework. I don’t just enjoy wordsmithing — I can’t help it!
I started freelance writing and editing in 2005, and since then have helped a wide variety of clients express themselves and appeal to their specific audiences. My work ranges from creating technical manuals and building websites; to crafting resumes, editing articles, and blogging for business; to editing and co-authoring novels and memoirs.
That said, my favorite clients are small businesses, startups, and authors. I am inspired by the passion and drive of my small-business clients and authors alike, and it makes my day to help them translate that into a great website or book.
